visited the doc today to get a checkup on my neck. been feeling a shap pain from my neck leading to my arm and back over the past 2 days til i could hardly turn my head. doc said my nerves could be injured due to overexerting myself when lifting weights. well hope it heals soon if not i might have to go for an X-ray. >.< so glad its finally the weekends! damnn... this week totally sucked. as though tuition from monday to thursday wasn't bad enough, we were called in for PA duty thrice this week to provide the equipment for the various rehearsals. and if that wasn't bad enough, we had mock exams! grrr... ok, i need a good break! hmm... the schools been spending lots of money lately, yes i mean LOTS. if you think the giant posters, boards and plaques around the school costed a bomb, wait til you see e new pa equipment in the backstage and sound room of the hall, ok fine i meant CHEN SU LAN hall happy? wireless mics at 600bucks per piece, the new sound mixer at 15,000 and the 1500x projector that is able to project light 50m away costing no less than 60 000 bucks! i gotta admit thats the most ex toy i'll be laying my hands on for tmr's service. so where did all our money go to? now we know. the plaques outside every classroom may seem like a nice idea, but it gets pretty freaky sometimes when it says, "in loving memory of so and so..." just like the one outside the redcross room! OHHMANN THANK GOD they didnt decide to include the photo too! hah. ok, im looking forward to my 14hours sleep today. chill. :)

[tickets to NDP! ]

ugrh! im hooked onto this year's NDP theme song - reach out for the skies! managed to get away from my work last saturday and caught the NDP final rehearsal at the padang with enshao and brandon, thanks to yunxing :) the rain was pretty heavy at first but that didnt spoil our spirit and enthusiasm. we ransacked our goodie bags, pasted tattoos all over our faces, waved our flags, screamed and cheered our lungs out as though we were the only ones there. hah, well of course we recieved stares from those around us but seriously who cares, its a parade!! thank goodness the rain stopped soon after. not course we were getting cold or wet but rather cause people infront of us were sheltering themselves with their umbrellas, not knowing that its blocking our view! grrr... but anyways, we got tired of screaming and decided to just sit and enjoy the rest of the parade. ok one thing that really shocked us was how singaporeans behaved. buns were given out by the officials and the audience were literally throwing it across the sectors! WADDE.. -___-" i guess NDP this year wasnt that good as compared to last year, other than it being held at the padang. but then again, you'll know its all worth while sitting there under the rain and getting hit by buns when you see the fireworks. yeahh beautiful stuff there. managed to take some snapshots and just as typical singaporeans are, we rushed out of the stadium before the parade ended to avoid the massive crowd and jams. got to hq to fetch the little ones and came home all shagged. will upload the pics for you guys once i get them transferred. chill!

[ Start of a new Begining ]

our long awaited farewell party was held last friday. long awaited not because we couldn't wait to leave the unit, but rather excited to see what our juniors had installed for us. for a start, dinner was... wow i dont know how to describe it. but it was totally unexpected and indeed an awesome surprise. something i never thought of, and the food was good too. (: right after was the performances which were so heartwarming that moved me to tears that i had no intention to... but i did. then followed by the ncos' speeches, prize giving and ending off with a last parade.

thank you juniors for puting sooo much effort to make the night such a special and meaningful one for all of us. i wasn't blind to see that it sure took up alot of your time from dressing up, to the planning, the rehearsals and performances, the decoration to the gifts... but most importantly, thank you for being a part of my life here in fmssrcy. good or bad, happy or sad, its you who made me the person i've become today. life would be so different without you guys. wo ai ni men! :)

not forgetting my fellow ncos, thanks for being ever so cooperative and tolerant towards one another especially me. again, the only reason i didn't screw up every event was cause you were always there backing me up all the way... you're the best! thank you! (:

now that a chapter has ended, its a start of a new. things will be different, personalities will change... its hard to accept the fact my time is over, its painful to leave. but i have to... theres no point looking back regretting about the things i could have done but didnt. instead, its better to have the good memories to cherish and to look ahead into my future. the unit may be disbanded or broken anytime... but its in each one of us, that the true spirit of the unit lies in. as long as we're together, we'll always be one. and the one place that will forever remain in my heart, FMSSRCY. all the way!

today's news headlines - "NKF withdraws defamation suits against SPH and journalist."

NKF's CEO earns income of 20k a month with annual bonus of 11-12months. owns a bathroom with a pricely german toilet bowl and gold plated tap. drives a Mercs, road tax, maintenance and repair paid by NKF. flies first class also paid by NKF. wahh this kind of job i also want sehh.

guess where all that money came from? YES OUR POCKETS when we donate to those nkf charity shows! SHHEESSHH...

well i'm just glad my chinese orals are over. if not who knows that topic might come out for nuts. heh.

another weekend has passed. while the NDP people have been enjoying themselves at the padang i was freezing my butt of at the library on sat and sun. didnt managed to study that much due to a bad flu, but thankfully i'm alright now. so during this whole period of chionging, its hard not to think about our future plans... results, which poly or jc, courses available, NS, uni... etc, etc. for me, guess i have already sort out the path i wana take... but its gonna be hard though. im not having a really good feeling about chinese Os right now. to retake or not to, thats the question. come to think of it, i dont really need it as im planning to get into a poly. haha but then again, class pressure lah. ok, its getting rather "late" and i should be off to bed. gonna try jogging and working out at 5.15am in the morning before heading to school, hopefully i can pay better attention during lessons instead of being half dead. HEY NDP CADETS I WANT MY NDP PREVIEW TICKETS!!! =)

feels great to be up and back in school after a good long break. for now, its gonna be full steam ahead to O levels. for a start things are going fine, except for chinese orals of course, but i shun't go into its details. afterall, its over! hell yeah. ok, well recently i discovered a place which is really condusive and neat to study- JE library. haha so now you know where ive been rushing to everyday after school. most of my classmates would say the only reason i'll go there is to see the chicks but hahas nah, im studying lar ok. on a challenge to complete 200h of studies in six weeks :) somehow i suddenly find studying fun! haha and yes, so does chinese. i guess i've come to realise i need more time for self study and revision instead of tuitions and other lessons. so... yeah, guess things are gonna be like that for the next four months.

so london won the olympic bid, not much a surprise about that. but never did we expect it to become a next terrorist target. its saddening to see the number of deaths and destructions on the headlines of newspapers everyday. yes, and i mean everyday. is this gonna be another one of god's prophecies, we wont know. but still, do pray people! prayers changes things. believe it.
